Tree Huggers

Nature is a beautiful thing that can bring us a feeling of peace and joy. It is full of amazing sights, sounds, and smells that can help us relax and appreciate the world around us.

Taking the time to explore nature can help us connect to ourselves and the natural world in a way that no other experience can. Whether you are hiking in the woods, exploring a beach, or simply taking a walk in your local park, nature can be a great source of inspiration and joy.

Best Teacher

Nature teaches us so many important lessons. It teaches us to appreciate the beauty of the world around us, to be mindful of our impact on the environment, and to be patient and resilient in the face of change. We can learn from nature's cycles of life and death, from the way plants and animals interact with their environment, and from the way nature is constantly changing and adapting to new conditions. Nature's lessons are invaluable to us, and if we take the time to observe and learn from it, we can become better stewards of the planet.

Listen…..

The truth of the matter is nature is incredibly resilient and can grow without any help from humans. In fact, many forests have been growing for thousands of years without any human interference. Trees are essential to the health of our planet and provide us with oxygen, shade, and homes for animals and insects.

Plants are very much alive! They are capable of taking in energy from the sun and converting it into food for themselves. Plants also have a range of other amazing abilities, such as being able to respond to environmental stimuli and even communicate with other plants!

That means nature has its own unique way of communicating with us. From the song of a bird to the sway of a tree in the wind, we can learn so much from the natural world around us. Nature can also communicate through the power of colors, shapes, and patterns. From a butterfly's vivid wings to the intricate patterns of a snowflake, nature can show us the beauty of being in tune with the world around us.

Nature can also communicate messages of hope and resilience. Whether it's a flower blooming in the middle of winter or a tree standing strong in the aftermath of a storm, nature can remind us to stay strong and to keep striving for better. Nature has so much to say - we just have to open ourselves up to the possibilities.

We can help them by protecting their habitats, reducing air and water pollution, and planting more trees. As humans we have a unique capability of either destroying or protecting nature from ourselves.

Lack of Awareness or Greed?

Humans often destroy nature due to a lack of awareness of the long-term impacts of their actions. For example, when people build roads, clear land for agriculture, or construct buildings, they may not realize how this can disrupt the delicate balance of nature.

Humans may also destroy nature as a result of their own greed and personal gain or to make a quick profit. This is particularly true of activities such as illegal logging, poaching, or over-fishing. It is essential that we become more aware of the consequences of our actions, and strive to protect and preserve nature for future generations.

It feels like we are destroying the most habitable environment for us. Earth is a great place to live; I personally have never been to another planet, so I can’t speak on it. Our planet on the other hand has atmosphere, temperature, and resources that make it a hospitable home. Knowing this gives me a sense of obligation to take care of it and all its inhabitants to ensure that our planet remains in balance and that we can continue to enjoy its many benefits for generations to come.

Wellbeing

Start with this Reconnecting with nature is a great way to de-stress, reduce anxiety, and improve overall wellbeing.

  1. Go for a hike and take in the beauty of the outdoors.

  2. Go for a picnic in the park and spot wildlife.

  3. Go camping and explore the area around you.

  4. Go fishing and take in the calming effects of being out on the water.

  5. Go for a bike ride and explore new places. Take a walk in the woods and listen to the sounds of nature.

  6. Go bird watching and marvel at the variety of birds out there.

  7. Go kayaking and take in the peacefulness of the water.

  8. Go on a nature scavenger hunt and find new and exciting things.

  9. Go stargazing and find constellations or planets in the night sky.

  10. Go to the beach and relax in the sun or take a dip in the ocean.

Nature has so much to offer, so don't be afraid to get out and explore. There’s so much distraction in our day-to-day lives that we forget to live; to enjoy our surroundings, our families, our communities, our countries, and most importantly ourselves. Being around plants helps with reducing stress and anxiety, improving air quality, and improving overall wellbeing. Studies have shown that being around plants can increase productivity, reduce fatigue, and even reduce blood pressure.

Plants can also be aesthetically pleasing, adding beauty and life to any environment.I love to find similarities between plants and people; well trees are like people in many ways. They both need care and attention to thrive and survive. Trees, like us, need proper nutrition, water, and sunlight to stay healthy and strong.

Trees also need protection from the elements, such as wind, rain, and snow, just as we need clothing and shelter. Trees also provide us with oxygen, just as we provide trees with carbon dioxide. Trees can also bring us joy and beauty, just as we can bring joy and beauty to trees with love and appreciation. So hug a tree, it’s like hugging a person!

Speaking of hugging!

Studies have shown that hugging can increase oxytocin levels in the brain, which can lead to improved mental health and development. Hugging can also help to foster deeper relationships and reduce stress and anxiety. So, don't forget to give those around you a hug every now and then. It can go a long way!

Back to nature..

Obsessed for a reason! People bring so much to nature with their beauty - from the way they appreciate its wonders, to the way they work to protect it. It is truly a blessing that people are able to bring such beauty to nature, and it is something that should be celebrated. We are indeed obsessed for a reason every living thing on Earth is interconnected, and we are all part of the same natural ecosystem. Why did we stop exploring?

People will list a number of reasons as to why we stopped exploring. Including financial, cultural, and political factors. In some cases, exploration was limited by lack of resources or knowledge, while in other cases, it was due to a lack of public interest or government support. Additionally, some people chose to focus their attention and resources on other endeavors, such as building and maintaining communities.

Ultimately, we stopped exploring because of a combination of these factors, which prevented people from being able to embark on long-term expeditions. There is always more to discover and explore. Whether it's a new place, a new hobby, or a new perspective, the world is full of opportunities to expand our knowledge and grow.

Life is an adventure and there's always something new and exciting to uncover. So why not take a chance and see what's out there?

Poetry

Nature:

Giving us the high pitched notes of the Cedar waxwing to the trumpets of an elephant. Master in design, show casting the most exquisite pattern and shapes. From  butterfly wings to the curvy rivers of Bangladesh. It can part oceans in two different colors. Nature can unearth lands, heal plants, animals, humans. It will give you what you give it. Nature adapts, it learns and changes. If rushed; It can destroy cities, displace populations, decimate finances, and diminish lives. It’s balanced, unbiased, and fair.
